Molecular Biologist – Job Description

Reproductive Genetic Innovations, LLC (RGI) is a pioneer in the field of preimplantation genetic testing, with over 30 years of experience in the industry. Working with over 200 centers and clinics around the world, RGI has continued to see growth in their volume of cases and number of patients year after year. RGI is looking to fill a role for a full-time, on-site Molecular Biologist to work as a part of our laboratory testing team. This person will be trained to perform clinical casework, efficiently complete gene mutation detection, and identify copy number variants using NGS technology. They will work as an integral part of our staff to complete patient testing in an accurate and timely manner. This position reports directly to the lab supervisor.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in biology, genetics, or other relevant field (M.S. preferred)
  • Previous experience working in a molecular laboratory setting required
  • 2+ years previous NGS experience
  • Basic knowledge of Windows and other IT
  • Knowledge of advanced genetic concepts and terminology
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals
  • Self-motivation and ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Skilled in prioritization, multitasking, and critical thinking/problem solving
  • Curiosity, creativity, enthusiasm, and the ability to learn quickly

Benefits

This position will pay $50,000-$70,000 per year, based on experience. Full-time employees are eligible for employment benefits after completing 60 days of employment at RGI.

Job Description: Account Relationship Manager

Position Overview:
Reproductive Genetic Innovations (RGI), a leader and pioneer in reproductive genetics, is seeking a dynamic and versatile Account Relationship Manager to join our team. This role is multifaceted, combining account management, marketing, social media engagement, and special project coordination. As a representative of RGI at industry events, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining client relationships, promoting our brand, and driving organizational growth. If you are passionate about advancing the field of reproductive genetics and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management:
    • Serve as the primary contact for a large portfolio of fertility clinics, labs, and healthcare professionals.
    • Develop and nurture strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Proactively identify client needs and provide solutions that align with RGI’s offerings.
    • Represent RGI at industry conferences and networking events
    • Build relationships with key stakeholders and stay informed about trends in reproductive genetics.
  • Marketing and Social Media:
    • Collaborate with various teams to create and maintain accurate and meaningful client facing content that resonates with the reproductive health community, including website and brochures.
    • Manage RGI’s social media platforms to engage with our audience, promote services, and increase brand awareness.
  • Special Projects:
    • Lead and coordinate special initiatives, such as launching new services, participation in special events or webinars, or developing educational content for clients.
    • Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in account management, marketing, or related roles, preferably within the healthcare or biotech industry.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-centric mindset.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of reproductive genetics, PGT, or IVF processes.
  • Experience with CRM platforms and data-driven decision-making.
  • Account management expertise and cross-functional team collaboration.
