RGI provides embryology services for multiple IVF centers and offers the option to keep your specimens on-site, allowing all IVF procedures to be performed in one location, if that’s your preference. If you choose to work with an IVF center outside of our partner network, RGI can assist in coordinating a safe and secure transport of your specimens locally, domestically, or internationally.
Another benefit to storing your embryos at RGI is that PGT can be performed during your storage term. With a physician’s request, RGI can thaw your embryos, perform the biopsy, test for PGT, and re-freeze samples to remain frozen for future use. RGI offers PGT-A, PGT-M, PGT-SR, and PGT-HLA testing.
Long-term storage of embryos, eggs, and sperm is extremely safe when managed with proper protocols and technology. At RGI, reproductive materials are cryopreserved in liquid nitrogen tanks maintained around the clock. We check liquid nitrogen levels regularly and use 24/7 alarm systems on each tank to alert our team immediately if there is any drop in temperature. Our staff is highly trained in cryostorage management, and we have backup systems in place to ensure the security and integrity of all stored samples.
